No Regrets

No regrets

 No regrets this Christmas

A new campaign is being launched in Medway for the Christmas period, highlighting the potential risks of drinking large amounts of alcohol before going out to a nightclub or party, known as pre-loading or pre-drinking.

The 'No Regrets' campaign is being run by the 'A Better Medway' Public Health Team (provided by NHS Medway/Medway Council), Kent Police and the KCA, and aims to highlight the risks excessive alcohol use has on sexual health, personal safety and anti-social behaviour.

The campaign will be supported by posters displayed in a number of nightclub venues in Medway, as well raising awareness through local sexual health clinics, youth settings, schools and University buildings.

Saturday December 10th marks the start of the 'No Regrets' campaign with a special launch event in The Pentagon in Chatham, where professionals will be available to give information about pre-drinking, and how to stay safe this Christmas. The team will be in The Pentagon from 10am - 4pm.
